At Hookit, we help brands maximize their sponsorship investments while empowering athletes, teams, leagues, and federations to prove and increase their value to sponsors. We are growing our team to support our meteoric growth in the new media, data-driven and insight focused sports sponsorship analytics space - an industry and approach we pioneered nearly five years ago.

Overview:
We are currently searching for motivated, energetic & dynamic individuals based in the LA area to join our Account Executive team.  Our proprietary platform provides the most comprehensive and accurate solutions to quantify sports sponsorship value from athletes, teams, leagues, and events by tracking the rapidly growing landscape of social and digital media.  

We are looking for ambitious, curious, and disciplined people with a customer focus and the desire to delight customers with our global insights. You will be supported by our industry leading team while you outline a solution with prospective clients to close mid to large tier deals. Working from a playbook ,you’ll have the opportunity to think creatively, tailoring your pitch to marketing executives of leading companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on creating partnerships with leading brands
  • Working with a combination of lead generation sources, focusing on building a strong pipeline of opportunities using your own skills in sales outreach
  • Utilize online and offline sources to cultivate new leads and develop your pipeline
  • Execute exploratory calls, conduct screen share or in person demos of SaaS solution, negotiate price, manage a pipeline and forecast deals
  • Achieve and  exceed monthly sales goals
  • Travel to conduct in person meetings when necessary

Our Ideal Fit:

  • Possess outstanding communication skills; both verbal and written.
  • Motivated team player who consistently strives to exceed goals and push revenue expectations.
  • 4+ years of outside sales experience in a fast-paced selling environment, proven top 5% of sales team in previous position.
  • SaaS sales professional with martech focus. 
  • Understanding of digital advertising landscape and typical marketing spend
  • Experience selling to mid-enterprise level companies and speaking to marketing executives
  • Solution oriented and consultative in your sales approach, ability to manage a well defined sales process
  • Understanding of the selling process to mid-size to large companies
  • Knowledge of how to sell into segmented, targeted industries with tailored  client focused solutions
  • Ability to thrive in a performance-oriented environment that rewards success
